The True Protester

-a very short story-

April 30th,

The sky are getting darker
There’s no stars on the sky
There’s only factory’s smoke
Reach the workers’s lung..

In a tenement :

She’s ironing her red veil,
Her blue jeans,
and her union-red-shirt,
happily,
vigorously.

She will join the rally tomorrow.
--
She wake up at the early morning,
take a bath with the contaminated water,
pray Shubuh,
eat some instant noodle with hot sweet tea,
and walk to the factory area..

It’s May Day!

She will fights her rights,
the workers’s rights,
walk with the thousands comrade
to blockade the airport.

... and she walks in the long march
like she join a pilgrimate..
--
She works in the food factory
as a temporary worker,
with minimum wage,
has not insurrance,
and job security,

but she’s an union member.
She knows her rights.

She join the rally
because she had a dream.
She’s assured that
the equal society
are possible.
--
She spreads those union pamphlets
to everyone she met on the street.
She loves to share the pamphlets on the rally.

She never mad when someone throws the pamphlet in her eyes.

but she’s very happy if someone reads her pamphlet :
thoroughly.
--
It’s May Day!

She loves the first day of May.
She loves the rally,
She loves freedom on the street.

She is the true protester.
She is the true fighter.
